CHIp Community Hub

We believe that everyone in our community has something to offer and can gain something from participating in local projects, activities and groups. By getting together we can make Ipswich a bustling town, full of culture and exciting independent businesses.

A CHIp Hub is an empty shopfront that has been repurposed temporarily as a community space. A place to sell products, exhibit artwork, a venue for events and meetings and a safe and free spot to just simply hangout in the town centre.

We at CHIp have unlocked the space for the community but it requires the community to make it a buzzing place to be. We welcome local traders, artists, crafters and friendly volunteers to come occupy our hub. People can organise meetings during opening hours and hire the space in the evenings for events. The Hub is a flexible space that can be accessible for all.
